Tierrasanta Recreation and Parks

Tierrasanta is next to Mission Trails Regional Park, one of the best places in San Diego to go for a hike and enjoy the San Diego canyons. Also nearby is Lake Murray where you can enjoy water sports and weekends boating. Ther’s also the Tierrasanta Community Pool which is open to lap swimmers and families out enjoying the San Diego sun. Tierrasanta is also close to I-8 and Qualcomm Stadium, home of the San Diego Chargers and the San Diego State University (SDSU) Aztecs football teams, although the site for a new stadium is currently under discussion. On the other end of I-8, at the outlet of Mission Valley is SeaWorld, Mission Bay, and many other San Diego attractions.
