Temecula Recreation and Parks

Temecula is one of the most active areas in Southern California for outdoor and indoor sporting activity. The newly built Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park is a 44 acre site located at Pechanga Parkway and complements the The Ronald Reagan Sports Park (formerly named the Rancho California Sports Park), a 128 acre site that includes the Community Recreation Center, five unlit ball fields, five lit ball fields, two lit football/soccer fields, children's play area, picnic shelter, BBQs and restrooms. The Temecula Skate Park offers skateboarding and in-line skating. The park consists of a competition 60-foot diameter bowl with ramp entry. The Community Recreation Center (CRC) complex has lockers, a gymnasium, swimming pool, teen room with big screen tv and video games, ping-pong and pool tables, a multi-purpose room with stage and kitchen facilities, and an outdoor amphitheater.
