Solana Beach has one of the premier shopping areas in San Diego County with the Cedros Design District, located between I-5 and Highway 101. The avenue is famous for its hip and artistic design shops for everything from art to furniture to accessories to outdoors equipment. A few of the more popular stores are Birdcage, Adventure 16, Cut & Dried Hardwood, Elements, Blackbird Interiors, Plum Pudding, Art & Accents, Artisans' Market and Leaping Lotus. There are nearby family-style stores serving grocery shopping needs, office supplies, clothing stores, shoe stores, and other sports and surf-related stores for the runners, surfers, and scuba enthusiasts.
