Scripps Ranch Shopping

While the area is largely a bedroom community, Scripps Ranch has shopping areas that are concentrated in several mid-sized strip malls just off I-15 or in the larger shopping malls located nearby such as North County Fair, just off Interstate 15, north of Scripps Ranch. With the addition of Hwy 56 adjoining the inland with the coast, there are new shopping centers going up. There are stores and shops that specialize in retail, family, big-box, and chain stores and that cater to families and individuals looking for affordable merchandise, clothing, accessories, sporting goods, books, and other items. The centers are well-lit and easy to park in and offer restaurant and fast-food choices as well as small cafes. Scripps Ranch is within easy reach of the I-15 and other North County areas with higher density shopping in downtown locations and with easy access to downtown San Diego.
