Scripps Ranch Recreation and Parks

Scripps Ranch was designed with the outdoors in mind. There are many trails and parks to enjoy the San Diego sunshine and to spend time with the kids, including outdoor ball facilities and indoor gyms. The centerpiece is the Scripps Ranch Recreation Center, a city-managed facility that includes an indoor gymnasium, multi purpose room with kitchen, classrooms, two lighted ball fields, one joint-use field, lighted outdoor basketball courts, large turfed area, covered picnic shelters and barbeques with hot coal bins. Also nearby Miramar Lake where you can bike or hike or rollerblade around the mile long shores of this beautiful lake without worrying about cars. It makes for a great outing with the family.
