San Marcos Entertainment

San Marcos is near one of the premier arts centers in the country at the California Center for the Arts at Escondido which attracts major national touring acts, plays, productions, and performers. The season goes year-round except for July and August and has included some of the top names in entertainment. The Bob Burton Performing Arts Center is an active arts center. The downtown area has become a mecca for artists setting up galleries and live music, making San Marcos one of the most attractive entertainment spots in the greater San Diego area.
