Rancho Bernardo Schools

Rancho Bernardo is part of the Poway Unified School District, located in North County, San Diego, which encompasses roughly an area of 100 square miles of suburban and rural property in and around Poway, including Rancho Bernardo, just north of Poway. As the third largest school district in San Diego County, it serves over 33,000 students and includes 23 schools comprising 23 elementary schools (K-5), six middle schools (6-8), four comprehensive high schools (9-12), and one continuation high school. Poway has award-winning schools and high teacher and parent satisfaction ratings at every level. Rancho Bernardo High School serves the Rancho Bernardo area and is considered one of the highest academically and athletically superior schools in San Diego. There are several centers for Adult Education as well with nearby community colleges.
