Ramona Recreation and Parks

Ramona is one of the most beautiful areas in the San Diego backcountry and has hiking trails, lakes, and county and state parks within an easy drive of the town. There’s also the Ramona Parks and Recreation Association (RPRA), which is the umbrella organization under which Ramona's Community Park and Community Center operate. RPRA functions exclusively as a non-profit organization to benefit the community and ensures the continual use and development of the park grounds by preservation and improvement of the facilities. Opportunities include youth sports, trails information for biking, hiking, and horseback riding, as well as a variety of programs and activities for all ages and interests.
