Old Town Shopping

Old Town has great specialty shopping for tourists and San Diegans alike in the Old Town Marketplace. There are wonderful boutique stores that import a wide selection of Latin American and Mexican items, and also souvenir shops for a San Diego memory. Old Town is also near downtown San Diego. The world-renowned Horton Plaza retail and entertainment complex houses 140 stores and restaurants in an area covering six city blocks. Seaport Village, the Gaslamp Quarter and Little Italy are other popular downtown shopping sites. There’s always something going on downtown and shoppers can mix a day of shopping with sight-seeing and visits to the ballpark, museums, or parks. Downtown also features two of the country's most beautiful open air shopping malls, Horton Plaza and Seaport Village, home to 75 boutiques. Old Town is near some of the best shopping in the region.
