Oceanside offers a wide range of choice shopping from the upscale to the trendy beach shop, and an eclectic mix of boutiques, jewelry stores, art galleries and home furnishings, as well as local surf shops (such as Surfride Board Shop), outdoor adventure, and swimsuit stores. On the south side of Mission Avenue there are great specialty stores and antique shops including Antiques on Mission, LLL Reptile, Used Paperbacks, the Collective and Ocean Sky Beads and Glass for beads, jewelry and stained glass. There are nearby fashion stores as well as family-style stored east of I-5 serving grocery shopping needs, office supplies, and clothing stores. Because of the active, outdoor life of residents here, there are plenty of sports and surf-related stores for the runners, bicyclists, surfers, and tri-athletes.
