Oceanside Schools

Oceanside Unified School District is one of the largest and most successful school districts in California. It includes six state-funded preschool sites at Del Rio, Ditmar, Laurel, Libby, Mission and North Terrace Elementary Schools, as well as 18 elementary schools all using the same core curriculum and instructional materials, ensuring that all students have equal access to the same high quality education. Oceanside has four middle schools, and two high schools—El Camino High and Oceanside High—both offering a full range of academic, artistic and athletic opportunities for students. The city of Oceanside keeps education as a high priority both in attracting quality teachers and expanding schools when necessary.
