North Park Recreation and Parks

North Park has some great neighborhood parks and nearby Hillcrest holds the annual Gay Pride Parade through the neighborhoods The quiet ambience and old world architecture makes Balboa Park a great place to spend the day with the family or for visiting at night for a play at the Old Globe theater, and museums such as the Natural History Museum, the San Diego Historical Society Museum, and the Science Museum. There are also youth activity and sports parks available for adult softball and little leagues.
