Murrieta Schools

Murrieta is one of the fastest growing communities in the greater San Diego area and has one of the most active and rewarding school districts as well, with plans for new high schools and adult learning centers. The Murrieta Valley Union School District includes ten elementary schools (Antelope Hills, Alta Murrieta, Avaxat, Buchanan, Cole Canyon, E. Hale Curran, Monte Vista, Murrieta, Rail Ranch, and Tovashal), three middle schools (Shivela, Thompson, and Warm Springs), and two high schools (Vista Murrieta, and Murrieta Valley High School). Plans for two more high schools are in the works. Serving a wide geographic location, the schools maintain high standards and are among the most widely respected in the area.
