Mira Mesa Schools

Mira Mesa is a community dedicated to strong schools and outstanding teachers. It has many award-winning schools, includinding six elementary schools, four middle schools, Mira Mesa High, (as well as the nearby Scripps Ranch High School) and two junior college in Miramar College and Webster College. Challenger Middle School, Ericson Elementary and Walker Elementary Schools have all received the California Distinguished School Award. Mira Mesa High School is also a National Blue Ribbon School and part of the San Diego Unified School District. The area is fast growing and is committed to maintaining a low ratio of students to teachers.
