The Gil Johnson Recreation Center offers a convenient and affordable indoor opportunity for working out and group activities. There’s also nearby Canyonside Recreation Center in Penasquitos, just a short drive up Black Mountain Rd. And a further drive will put you in the backcountry region where you can enjoy hiking and camping in forests and deserts.
