Mira Mesa is largely a bedroom community, but there are some good bars and clubs nearby, such as the very popular Epicentre at 8450 Mira Mesa Blvd, the one place for the all-ages crowds to hear indie music, dance, and enjoy the scene. However, a more varied night scene is nearby for both young adults and visitors in the coastal communities, which has some of the best local bars and nightclubs in Southern California. Mira Mesa is within a short drive of great dancing, movies, restaurants, and sporting events that make San Diego such an attractive place to venture out for nighttime fun.
