Lower Hermosa

The neighborhood of Lower Hermosa runs along the ocean just south of La Jolla's Beach Barber Tract.  About 500 homes are located here, with easy access to Windansea Beach, Bird Rock's Restaurant Row, and the Village of La Jolla.  The exclusively single-family homes in Lower Hermosa have original build dates of 1920 through the 1980's, providing the neighborhood with a look that is both eclectic and charming.  Square footage in Lower Hermosa is equally varied, with cozy bungalows tucked between large mansions!  Though its name literally translates to mean "Road of the Coast," palm-lined Camino De La Costa runs parallel to the ocean through Lower Hermosa and is known as the "Street of Dreams," due to the fabulous estates which border it.
