La Jolla Heights

La Jolla Heights is the neighborhood on the hill overlooking La Jolla Shores beach.  Mostly detached single family homes, built from 1960 on, are located in this popular neighborhood, with some condominiums available.  Many have been remodeled to offer modern accoutrements, paired with views of the ocean to the west, or the city vista and mountains to the east.  As an exclusively residential area, there are no businesses in quiet  La Jolla Heights, but the neighborhood is located a short walk from the University of California San Diego, and is near the quaint Village of La Jolla and several shopping centers.
