Fallbrook is served by an excellent team of emergency workers, which includes the North County Fire Protection District, the CDF fire response team, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the California Highway Patrol, and the volunteer-supported Trauma Intervention Program. The North County Fire Protection District has equipped all of their ambulances and engines with heart defibrillator machines, which can save lives in the event of emergencies. For the well-being of the community, defibrillator machines are now being placed in local grocery stores and golf courses as well. Fallbrook Hospital has one of the best acute care facilities in San Diego County, and is regarded as one of the premier hospitals in the region.
