El Cajon Schools

El Cajon is served by the Cajon Valley Union School District, an award-winning district that attracts high-quality teachers from around the country. The district includes over twenty elementary schools, five middle schools, and eight respected high-schools in the area. The schools also have outstanding extracurricular activities from sports to fine arts. The area is home to the Grossmont Community College District, which has two award-winning community colleges, Grossmont and Cuyamaca.
