Del Cerro Golf

While professional Golfer Phil Mickelson is originally from Del Cerro, the neighborhood does not have its own golf course. There are beautiful courses nearby, however, in East County, San Diego, such as the Carlton Oaks Country Club, in Santee, which features a challenging 7,225-yard course; Mt. Woodson Golf Club which Golf Digest named as one of the “most beautiful and unique courses in California,” citing its hilly terrain, superb conditions and panoramic views; and Steele Canyon Golf Club which features three distinct 9-hole Gary Player-designed courses.
