Clairemont has some great family-style restaurants located in the shopping areas along Clairemont Drive, including Bombay Coast Indian Tandoor & Curry Express for vegetarian and Indian cusine; Mandarin Wok, a standout in busy Clairemont, and Aladdin Mediterrannean Café for Greek, Middle Eastern and Italian cuisines in one inexpensive and accessible menu. And there are many small bistros and specialty food shops for Thai, Asian, and Mexican that can be found in the smalls nearby, and more upscale restaurants can be found more toward the coast in La Jolla and downtown San Diego.
