Carmel Valley Recreation and Parks

Carmel Valley is a great place for outdoor recreational activities and includes several family parks for youth sports and adult recreation. The Carmel Valley Recreation Council provides a place for recommendations and oversight of the parks and recreation facilities, including Carmel Valley Recreation Center which contains an Olympic-size pool, basketball courts, and offers a wide array of youth and adult activities for an active community, such as tennis lessons, swimming lessons, basketball leagues, and much more. In addition, there are many hiking and horse trails available, as well as easy access to Torrey Pines State Beach, one of the most popular beaches in San Diego.
