There’s always plenty to do in Carlsbad, including live music, surf events, movies, street fairs, and weekend events for families and shoppers. One of the most popular family destinations is Legoland, which attracts visitors from around the world, and the popular flower gardens which spread for acres around Carlsbad. There are also movie theaters, sporting events, theater productions, and much more in Carlsbad, offering a great setting for events that draw from all over the greater San Diego area. Two little known entertainment ideas is a “flightseeing” company next to Legoland that offers the nation's oldest and largest full-time gentle or thrilling coastal open cockpit biplane rides. Or take a tour of the local award-winning Witch Creek Winery.
